If you have a VCF file shared with you over e-mail or link, make sure that you download it to your computer first.

  • You will see a list of all your current Contacts and a sidebar on the left with Contact Folders and some actions on it.
  • Click on “Import” link on the left sidebar. You will see a dialog where you can choose a VCF or CSV file to import. Click on the “Select file” button and the “Open file” dialog will open. There you will need to find your VCF file and click “Open” button. Once the file is selected you can also choose a label you want to use for importing the file. Labels can help you navigate through various imported contact groups later.
  • When you done with choosing the file and selecting the label click on the “Import” button to start the import process.
  • Once import procedure is complete you will see your contacts listed in the contact list together with other contacts you already had there. You can also view only imported contacts by clicking on the import labels which are visible on the left sidebar.

If you see any errors during the import process, make sure that the file you are trying to import is in VCF format. Sometimes contacts could be sent in compressed VCF file which have ZIP or RAR file extensions. In this case you will need to decompress the file first.
